Taken from the Knights of the Crystals FAQs"
- Launching the Game
Q: An error occurred after I entered my name.
A: You may be using an old version of Flash Player. Click here to install the latest Flash Player version.
Q: I'm using the 64-bit version of Windows 7, but even after installing the latest version, the game will not work.
A: Flash Player is not compatible with the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer. Please use a 32-bit browser.
- Quests
Q: Even though I have completed 100% of a quest, I cannot proceed to the next difficulty level.
A: To access the next difficulty level, you must complete all the quests of that stage (up to four quests per stage).
Q: I can't defeat the boss monster.
A: If you are trying to fight a boss alone,
recruit more companions and then try again.
If you still can't defeat it, ignore the boss for a while
and try completing a few more quests instead.
Raise your character's level, improve your equipment, and then try again.
Q: I bought a Companion at the Shop, but the Companion won't support me in the boss battle.
A: Only Friend Companions can provide support in boss battles.
Q: I can't find any Treasure Material.
A: The Treasure Material that you can find differ depending on the map.
In particular, it's worthwhile exploring a place even after you have completed the quests for that area.
- Head-to-Head Battles
Q: Some of my opponents in head-to-head battles are way stronger, even though we are the same level. Why is that?
A: In head-to-head battles, battle strength is calculated based on the character level, equipment, number of Companions and amount of equipment.
In particular, if your character is equipped with high-quality weapons and armor,
and you have lots of Companions with enough items to equip them all (even low quality items),
then your battle stats will get a big boost in head-to-head battles.
Q: Sometimes on the Results Screen, the equipment area reads "Empty." Why is that?
A: This happens when you don't have enough equipment for all your Companions.
Q: I selected the Healer Class for a head-to-head battle, but the character did not recover any HP.
A: HP recover takes place over time, or you can press the Healer button that is next to the HP indicator to replenish HP.
However, Classes that come with the Heal command cannot use the command in head-to-head battles.
You can only use Heal in boss battles.
- Status
Q: I keep leveling up, but my Status stats are not increasing.
A: After leveling up, you must allocate Skill Points to your character.
Q: What is the best way to allocate Skill Points?
A: It's up to you how you allocate Skill Points, depending on how you want to develop your character.
The following should help you decide what aspects of your character you want to strengthen the most.
Action Power This mostly improves your ability to access quests.
Battle Power This mostly improves your ability to engage in head-to-head battles.
Hit Points Hit Points increase your stamina in boss battles and head-to-head battles.
Attack Attack increases your attacking strength in boss battles and head-to-head battles.
Defense Defense increases your defensive strength in boss battles and head-to-head battles.
Q: I've added more Companions, but my Guild's total attacking strength (defensive strength) has not increased.
A: To boost your Guild's total attacking strength (defensive strength),
you must have enough equipment for all your Companions.
When you have more Companions than equipment, or more equipment than Companions,
only the lower number counts when calculating your Guild's total attacking or defensive strength.
- Items
Q: What do the letters such as "C" and "U" mean next to items?
A: They indicate how rare an item is. Items are ranked as follows according to how common or unusual they are.
C Common Available in the Shop. Easily obtained.
U Uncommon Not often available in the Shop. Somewhat difficult to obtain.
R Rare Almost never available in the Shop. Difficult to obtain.
E Epic Extremely difficult to find, and costs a lot to obtain even when you do.
L Legendary Really, really, really hard to find. You need lots of luck to get one of these items!
Q: Sometimes, when I click on a Feed to receive an item, I don't receive the item. Why is that?
A: Each Feed has a time limit and a player number limit.
If your Feed request arrives after the time limit or the maximum number of players has been exceeded,
you will not receive the item.
Also, the person who sent the Feed cannot receive the item, even if they click on the Feed.
As well, some Feeds are restricted to certain players.
- Other

A: Your Friend must accept the invite before he can be added to you Companions List.

wait until 23 hours have passed since you last used an AP Pack. Only then can you press the Use Action Power Pack button.
Q: What is the Chest Box for?
A: Normally when you lose a battle you lose GP, but GP
stored in a Chest is safe from plunder by the foe.
However, chests can only hold a certain amount of GP,
